Complaint against Jio: grievance officer and escalation

Updated 2026-10 · General information, not legal advice.

Start with Jio's own grievance process, then escalate through the telecom appellate authority and the Consumer Commission if it is not solved. This page links to the company's official page. Official page checked on 12 October 2026. Names and contact details can change, so read them there, not here.

What it handles

  • Wrong bills or charges
  • Network, port-out or service problems
  • Complaints not resolved by customer care

How to file

  1. 1

    Complain to the operator

Use Jio's customer care or complaint centre and note the docket (complaint) number.

  2. 2

    Use the appellate authority

TRAI's rules require telecom operators to have an appellate authority for unresolved complaints. The official page below lists the authority and the nodal officers.

  3. 3

    Keep the timeline

Write down the dates of each contact, the docket number and the replies.

  4. 4

    Take it further if needed

If it is still not fixed, you can complain to the Department of Telecommunications via CPGRAMS or file a consumer complaint at e-Jagriti.
