    Find the value of your claim

    The Commission depends on the value of the goods or services you paid for, not only the compensation you ask for.

    Pick the Commission

    Up to ₹50 lakh: District Commission. Above ₹50 lakh up to ₹2 crore: State Commission. Above ₹2 crore: National Commission.

    Check the fee

    There is no fee for claims up to ₹5 lakh. Above that there is a fee that rises in steps; the e-Jagriti portal shows it for your claim.

    File on time

    File within 2 years of the problem. You can file where you live or work, online on e-Jagriti.
