The National Consumer Helpline is a government service where you can complain about a product or service. It takes your complaint to the company and follows up. It is free.

How to file

Complain to the company first
Write to its grievance officer and keep the complaint number. The helpline works best when the company has already had a chance to respond.

Register on the helpline
Call 1915 or file at consumerhelpline.gov.in with your order details, dates and what you want.

Follow up on the complaint
Use your docket number to check the status. If it is not settled, move to the Consumer Commission.
