The RBI Integrated Ombudsman Scheme lets you complain free of charge about services from banks, non-banking finance companies and payment system operators, after you have tried the entity first.

Complain to the bank or NBFC
Write and keep the complaint number.

Wait 30 days or for a reply
If the entity rejects it or does not answer in 30 days, you can go to the Ombudsman.

Upload the complaint, replies and proof. The helpline is 14448.
